When you're hiring a DJ for your wedding or event, you want someone who is familiar with the venue - someone who knows the details of the layout, setup process, sound restrictions, and more. DJ Cam has compiled a list below of some of the top Utah ski resort venue options that he works with or services. While these are the venues we find ourselves at most often, we work with almost every venue in the state; if you don't see something, don't worry! No matter which you choose, all of them are stunning options for your celebration.

Just 20 minutes away from Provo, UT, Sundance is one of the Utah ski resorts that is the perfect venue for your wedding or event. It combines exciting mountain activities with beautiful scenery.

Capacity + RoomsOf the Utah ski resorts, Sundance has some of the greatest spaces designated for weddings and private events. These spaces include the creekside ceremony area, the Redford Conference Center, the Rehearsal Hall, the Screening Room, the Wasatch Lodge, Elk Meadows, and Bearclaw Mountain Lodge, with the largest space accommodating up to 300 guests.

Snowpine Lodge is one of the Utah ski resorts located a little over 30 minutes from Salt Lake City. It's a year-round "luxury lodge" located in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
SoundWhile the lodge does follow Alta sound ordinance restrictions, your event can continue late into the night if music and dancing take place indoors. Music by the pool and outdoor area normally end earliest, as these areas are usually closed earlier into the night.
Capacity + RoomsSnowpine Lodge has multiple areas designated for events including the lawn, the Snowpine Ballroom, and the Terrace & Swen's Restaurant. Capacity varies but can Snowpine can accommodate up to 300 guests in the largest space. This venue also offers onsite accommodations.

Note: Venue is very straightforward and fairly easy to access. Vendors will have to use an elevator to get to ceremony and reception spaces. Plan on coordinating a schedule for vendors to share elevator access.

Solitude Mountain Resort is one of the Utah ski resorts located 35 minutes from Salt Lake City Utah. They have many lodging options and are a great venue choice for summer weddings - in their own words, "The Perfect Summer Mountain Wedding Venue in Utah."
SoundSound restrictions vary by location. The Moonbeam Lodge has a music curfew of 11:00 p.m. In other areas, music must be concluded by 10:00 p.m.
Capacity + RoomsSolitude offers many venue spaces with the most popular being the Moonbeam Lodge, which has a capacity of up to 145 people. Other Reception areas include the Roundhouse, Last Chance Lodge, Honeycomb Grill, and St. Bernard's. There are even more options when it comes to ceremonies, with areas including the Inn Lawn, the pond, Last Chance Lawn, Moonbeam Lawn, Moonbeam Lift Lawn, and Roundhouse.

Note: Solitude offers multiple areas for events. Depending on the location chosen, set up and break down may be more time-consuming, requiring more labor. Moonbeam Lodge, for example, has only one elevator that all vendors must share.

Beaver Mountain Resort is one of the Utah ski resorts located approximately 25 miles from Logan, UT and 13 miles from Bear Lake. As a wedding or event venue, their classic A-frame lodge is available along with multiple outdoor spaces for your event. Guests can even have a slumber party in the lodge!
SoundBeaver Mountain has no restriction on sound levels.
Capacity + RoomsBeaver Mountain Resort offers multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces including the cabin and the lawn, with capacity for up to 260 seated guests.
